AND I WILL:
After I receive all of the above components, I will add HTML coding to the text files and scan the images, reproducing the actual page-by-page appearance of the zine as close as possible. When the HTML pages have been approved by you, I will then upload the final product to the Zine Archive website (http://www.smithway.org/archive.html)
Turn-around time depends on many things. Number of pages in zine, number of images and special characters, complexity of coding, how many other zines are waiting to be coded, etc. As an example, Mimosa 18 was viewable on the web within a week of my receiving all the necessary files.
Sounds good, you may be thinking, but how much is this going to cost me?
The labor (mine) is free. Why? Sparing you the long, emotional reasonings -- this is my way of "repaying" fandom for a lifetime of wonder and joy.
Of course, if you like the job I do and/or you feel compelled, inspired, or otherwise inclined to throw money at me -- I certainly wont throw it back!
How about space on the web server? Isn't there usually a monthly or annual fee?
Usually, yes. In this case, at this time, no. The web space is also free (subject to availability). The explanation is a bit odd, but if you find yourself unable to sleep at night because you're dying to know how this is possible, e-mail me (firstname.lastname@example.org) and I'll explain the details.
THIS OFFER APPLIES ONLY TO FANZINES OF/BY/FOR THE
SCIENCE-FICTION, FANTASY, HORROR COMMUNITY
no other fanzines submissions will be accepted.
